Meet the Founder
Trudy Craig, M.S., LIAC
Founder & Licensed Independent Addiction Counselor
After nearly three decades working within the Arizona correctional and reentry system, Trudy Craig saw firsthand how substance use, trauma, poor decision-making, and lack of support can affect individuals, families, and entire communities. She also saw that lasting change is possible when people are treated with honesty, respect, accountability, and compassion.
Trudy created Rise Up Arizona to provide practical, professional support for adults working through DUI, domestic violence, substance use, relapse prevention, court-related requirements, and other life challenges. Her approach is direct, respectful, and solution-focused. She believes clients should be held accountable for their choices while still being treated with dignity and given the tools to make healthier decisions.
Her goal is simple: to meet people where they are, tell them the truth, support real change, and help them rise beyond the choices and circumstances that brought them to treatment.

Rise Up Arizona Recovery and Counseling Services PLLC is licensed by the Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS) and approved by the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT) and Motor Vehicle Division (MVD). Our programs meet all requirements set by Arizona courts.
